How about Nuttivaara a d a 3rd for Middelstadt? He’s in the AHL again and seems like he needs a fresh start, plus Columbus needs forwards.

I think Mittelstadt is gonna be good. We rushed him and when they sent him back down he looked better. I think he needs to get stronger physically and he'll be a fine player. I'd trade Mittelstadt for Korpisalo tho.

Yeah, a 24-year-old defenseman who has yet to make the league doesn't really fit with Columbus's needs.

That's nowhere near enough of a return. If Buffalo's getting Korpi, Sam Reinhart or Dylan Cozens are coming to Columbus. (Obviously Korpi isn't the only piece going to Buffalo in such a scenario.)

For Korpisalo we’d need more of a sure thing coming back... I think he has potential, idk if buffalo has any trust in him anymore after sending him to the AHL... is he really one of your top 7 forwards to protect? If not he could easily go to Seattle.

You're overrating Korpisalo.

You're overrating Korpisalo.

For the zillionth time on this website, you have to motivate Columbus to trade either of their goalies. Merzlikins is exempt from the Seattle draft, and we can protect Korpisalo by signing Kivlenieks to a cheap two-year deal. If Jarmo is going to trade Korpi, it's only going to be with a clear top-6 talent (and probably a 2C) coming back.

Since all of the offers in this ACGM aren't helpful to Columbus, let's just trade Nuti to Winnipeg for Roslovic and bring the kid home.

Hate to be the guy, Sharks need to cut the cord. Selling later will be regrettable.

I mean I don't think SJS does this because we love Hertl, but I'm glad that you've gotten the value somewhat right.

Actually Seattle probably takes Montour or Nuttivaara in this case. My bad.

Dahlin Jokiharju and Nutivaara protected, Montour traded.

Depends. I could see it getting moved. The contract just drags down his value at this point.
