Description

Edmundson contract rumors : Edmundson might take a 2 years deal 3.75M AAV

Reasons why it would make sense :

1- Flat cap, not a lot of team could afford Edmundson at 4M for the next 2 seasons
2- Edmundson will probably play top 4 minutes in MTL so is value could raise
3- After is 2 years deal, the cap will probably go up so he could sign a bigger deal ( he’ll be only 29 yo )
4- Make senses for both side because Norlinder/Harris will be ready by then

Hate to put a damper on your ducks trade but Hakanpää will battle it out for 3RD. Lindgren is no more than a #3 goalie in any org. Ducks pass.

Would you trade a useful contract vs Lindgren ? Like an AHLer without upside, he could be 26+ yo

Lindgren meets requirements to be exposed for the expansion draft right? If so any of the 26+ AHLers outside of Carrick. Carrick is the captain in SD.

No Lindgren got 1 year remaining so he will be UFA for the expansion draft. We just have too many goalies ( Price Allen ) ( Primeau Demchenko Lindgren McNiven ) ...

Would love to see Ed take a two year deal, that'd be a nicely spent 5th rounder. I wouldn't trade Mete, he can be signed for dirt cheap right now and Kulak's a sell high player after his playoffs.
