If Tatar was ever going to get a 1st it was at last years TDL. There is no reason for any team to give that up for him now, let alone add to that.

Similarly Killorn wont cost that much to acquire either.

Everyone is just going to ignore Laine going for Domi, Poehling, 2 firsts and a second? That's a rather heavy price to pay for MTL.

All really good trades but I'd stay away from signing Hoffman if I were the Habs and honestly would look at Krug instead.

EDIT: Alternatively, maybe forego the free agent market and draft a LHD like Kaiden Guhle. My dream for the Habs though is to trade up to #10 overall if Sanderson slides and is still available.

Laine is still 22. Domi is 25. Laine has always had more upside than Domi. I think it's a fair trade.

Yeah I get that @Habs4life is new here, but that's a bad capdump, even if Habs fans tried it a million times.

Ottawa is the last team willing to add caphit. They were cheap before the league lost all its ticket revenue.

Also if you try to dump Byron somewhere else, remember you need to offer something of value to convince the team to add big caphit, and a 4th aint it.

OTT will need to add NHL players in the roster. Byron is a good 2 ways player and good veteran for your young team

And yet still Winnipeg declines that offer, Basically any deal for Laine realistically starts with Suzuki+Romanov.

Krug isn't signing with Montreal all Canadian teams were on his no trade list.

Laine is a winger and never you will have Suzuki and Romanov. If your price is that, i think you will be disappointed

Suzuki is one of the best young C in the NHL. Forget this option. Domi is the best option for a top6 center. If you don’t want your best option will be to play Laine at center... I still said you and Chevy will be desapointed.

Dude you don't move a 6'5 winger for a 5'9 #2C just like with Mantha any deal with Domi included isn't happening that's just facts.

I don’t move Domi for Laine

I move
Domi, good young #2C who have a 72pts saison
Harris, good def prospect
Poehling good young center prospect
2x 1st pick
1x 2n pick

For Laine

Well reportedly this isn't what Chevy wants, And if Chevy doesn't get his asking price for Laine he's not getting moved.

The market is full of teams whose owners need to lose less money... let the jets keep laine.. he doesn't play defense at all and he goes into funks worse then pacioretty..
