Explain the Ottawa trade. Because the way Im seeing it, you want us to give you a 3rd rounder to take on a contract similar to marleau's (which fetched a 1st) and an RFA who was called out by coach and GM...

OTT is going to need a whole lot more incentive then Virtanen to take Ericksson’s contract, and no way they are sending a 3rd back.
FLa that’s not remotely close to fair value for Ekbald. A borderline bust prospect, a nice albeit small wing prospect which Florida literally doesn’t need, and mid to late 20’s 1st rd pick doesn’t get you Ekbald.
COL isn’t paying you to take a cap dump.
