I think it’s likely that the Pens will use Murray to get roster players since they’re still contenders

A borderline 3rd and a borderline 6th for a 26 year old RFA goalie with multiple Stanley Cup wins? Yeah Murray had a down year but I'd take that deal any day of the week, even with Jack Johnson coming in too. His three year contract does no harm and he can just be our 7th dman, we can waive or trade Reilly.

We can get Smith and Georgiev for less

I really hope Ottawa not interested in Matt Murray and if they are they are not going to take bad contracts like Johnson back.
