Why would someone trade two seconds for kerfoot, and why trade Reilly? Do you really see Boston helping you out and hurting their own cap situation in one fowl swoop? So many questions

B’s pass. Fair, but pass. Kerfoot would be of more interest to B’s. Not for Frederic, but of more interest.

The answer to all the questions is so Toronto can sign Pietrangelo. Any single move falling apart Leafs to not enough cap space to sign him.
Just Boston passing Leafs to 2.5 mil less to offer him.

On the bright side no Andersen to, insert team that doesn't need hin, for a 1st +++,..
