Im going to get a ton of heat for this, but if Faulk returns to his Carolina form with Muzzin, then this could be a steal. Very, very risky though

I realize you probably would rather not, but I imagine Pittsburgh would rather you keep the picks and take Murray for Johnsson instead. Also wyd taking an anchor like Faulk? That contract is bad now, it's going to be abysmal by the time it ends.

The thing about Faulk returning to form is that he was never really that good. He was fed big minutes and PP usage and was able to put up some nice numbers, but he's not a plus defender, he shoots too much for a guy with a below-average shot, and he can't skate well enough to take the risks he has to take to be effective on offense. If he was signed to a 4x4 he'd be a good asset, but the Leafs would be helping us out big time taking that contract right now.

Lol why would the Penguins give up Jarry (their starter) for a middle six LW when the team already has a bunch of LW, including Poulin who will be ready this year or next? He's not going to play above Zucker or Guentzel either.

I don't see Buffalo giving up 3 picks for one year of Andersen
