Edmonton has no need for more Dman why would we move 2 forwards for a dman when we need wingers and a 3rd line centre

You're not going to get 1st round picks in either the Calgary or Carolina trades. And Carolina is going to say no for Pesce.

I’d trade Pesce for Nylander, provided the Canes were sure to re-sign Vatanen and Hamilton.

Well the Calgary and Carolina trades likely don't happen so that means the Kuemper one doesn't either.

I think Toronto passes on the Edmonton trade and the Nylander for Pesce trade. Anthanasiou and Puljujarvi are total mysteries right now so I would rather have the first and Nylander simply has more trade value then Pesce being the above average player while Pesce is just a decent shut down guy.
