Not a deal the Flames would be interested in. I don't think Boston has the pieces to acquire Johnny - mainly because Boston's picks won't be good enough to warrant the move.

Thats an extremely underwhelming return for Johnny. Think about what it would cost a team to get Pasta and subtract a little. Then you have Gaudreau's value

I was basing it off age, term, and cap hit. Its highly likely Gaudreau bounces back to at least an 80 point player next year (80 point pace at least) and potentially 90+.

I think he does too that's why I saod Marchand, as he's an 85-90 point player. ALso, Marchand might be older, but he is locked up long term at a good cap hit, while Gaudreau could potentially walk in 2 years.

But, maybe we are just splitting hairs lol
