No team is taking on Loui Eriksson without a sweetener being added. GMs aren't helping Jim Benning out of his mess. it will cost him dearly.

Why are all these teams so generously helping the Canucks out of their cap problems?

Buffalo doesn't take that Eriksson contract without major sweeteners.
Ottawa declines because there is no way they are taking on that contract, even though it would be a win for them.
The Benn deal isn't egregious.
The Flames laugh and hang up. No way they are helping out their #2 rival by eating $3m in cap for the next 2 seasons without a major sweetener.

They think because Miller is making more money in real cash they can just dump Eriksson because he’s making less real money over the next two years. Even though miller was really solid at the end of the season.

If this deal was about buffalo saving money they’d just by miller out as it works about the same amount saved and you don’t take one a contract that can’t be bought out, Vancouver would have to make worth it say Virtanen and a second

They should keep him. Miller and Dahlin played well together. I would rather move him for a 7th rather than taking on Eriksson contract.

What nuk fans don’t realize Benning has been trying to move him for 2 yrs already and played his last card by letting Eriksson agent get involved nuk fans got all excited thinking this was a positive sign just opposite it was Benning throwing a Hail Mary deep into triple coverage and the ball was 20 yards short of the intended receiver they’ve turn over every stone and still can’t find a dance partner funny thing he could have moved him in the three trade between the oilers, flames and nuks but he thought Eriksson was the most expensive piece in the deal and wanted a big sweetener.

Sounds like Botterill when he didn’t want to add in a 4th round pick in a Ehlers for Ristolainen trade last summer.

He figured because Eriksson had one less yr on the deal the Vancouver should get compensated for that so far the nuks have paid him 38mil for 36 goals just outstanding value the nuks should have offers 2 inches deep on Bennings desk for him lol
