Probably wouldn't do this until next year when they can pick up a pure, top centreman but it really is crazy to see how much they can upgrade and completely change a franchise in literally 1 month.

I mentioned on another thread that it might be the perfect time for Ottawa to try to steal someone with an offersheet (PLD/Barzal?). Very doubtful that it'd ever happen, for a variety of reasons, but with their bounty of picks, it might be a good time to strike.

They wont because they won’t be able to re-sign their young guys later on. I still think in the next 2 years they make a trade for a top 6W or top 4D man (like Ekblad/Pesce/Nylander/Ehlers/Laine level players)
