It’s funny because Neal, Okposo, Carter, Wennberg, Turris, Gardiner, Gudbranson and maybe a few others can be useful players, their AAV is just way too high

Wennberg has been rumoured to be bought out by CBJ. A lot of those guys could be well into their 30s at the end of their contracts. I think it would be a bit risky imo.

oh please what? They arent buying him out. He had a strong post January 1st. He'll be our 3rd LHD for another year to see if he returns to form. If not, maybe we buy him out after the 20-21season. maybe.

Well we roll into the expansion draft with Pesce and Slavin protected then the best performer of Fleury and Skjei. We have a standing deal with Hamilton post expansion draft. We let Seattle take one of Gardiner, Skjei/Fleury, and Bean. We still have a top 5 defense in the league without having to pay Seattle to take a specific player.

If Bean, beats out Gardiner in camp then you look at moving Gardiner. I dont think we'll see that. Or we could move Bean for more offense help.

Bobby Ryan already bought out (announced at least).

And some of these guys would be cheaper to bury.

VAN and NYI are in real pickles though.

I reflected the Bobby Ryan buyout in this AGM, by creating a potential all buyout team. You seem to get the idea but some of the idiots that comment on this type of stuff don’t seem to get it.

in total $'s yes.

in cap relief, he is absolutely buy-out-able.
$5.6M this year, $3.6M next year, then 0.6 and 0.6

it alleviates almost 2.4M next season when Hughes, Petersson and Demko are due contracts.

then only down to 600k the year Boeser is due.

this years roster will be a total patchwork though, but it's definitely not buyout proof

It is 'potential' buy-out team so I was saying, "Bobby Ryan is no longer a potential buy-out...he is bought out"
