Description

Draft askarov before canes and bring him up to replace kuemper. Re sign Rielly with kuemper’s money.

Again super unrealustic and just for fun.

If you think the trades need tweaking let me know. Clearly the wild would be a tough sell.

You protect 8 skaters. No chance in hell will Minnesota give up a 1st rounder while helping Toronto's cap by taking on 13 million dollars in salary. Wild are already desperate to shed salary

Actually 7m and we’ll just forget about the top 5 RW in the deal right?

I get it, it’s outlandish. Just like I said in the description. Toronto has talented players to move. They aren’t cap dumps. Every trade isn’t “helping Toronto with cap” they are hockey trades with a young star coming back.

3m????? Then every other player in the league is overpaid by 2m.

Marner is overpaid by 1-1.5m nothing that he can’t grow into. Half his contract is paid so cash owed is less.

Good luck with that. Can’t see a team offering much better. I would have considered offering something extra for garland in the deal.

Overpaid by $3m?!? You think Marner is only worth $7.893m per season after he hit 94 points in 2018-19 (11th overall in league scoring) and was on pace for 93 points last year 2019-20?? Over the last three years, Marner is 19th overall in cumulative scoring ahead of Eichel, Point, Scheifele, Rantanen, Couturier, Seguin etc. He's overpaid by maybe $1.5m at the absolute most.

Kuemper's ask price is a first round pick and one to two smaller value assets , Garland is the most valuable player on the Coyotes and had the best cost per point and goal last season and probably will again this upcoming season your going to have to overpay a lot to get Garland AND Kuemper

Yup I could see the overpay for garland. Would be risky but could pay off. Wouldn’t mind taking him out of the deal. The issue that concerns me about giving more for kuemper is his health.
