Neither DET nor NJD are contenders next year. Just keep the picks and develop your players. I dont see a reason why either side would want to do this.

I would love to make giant strides but the reality of situation is that we are building through drafting(good drafting hopefully). No amazing free agent is coming to save us. And yes I can see us getting a decent pick up in free agency for a defenseman.

I’ve seen rumors of Perfetti, Rossi, and Drysdale. Anyone that claims to think they know what Steve is thinking is just pure speculation. Only one media person (JD Burke) said anything about Seider last year and a few posters on HFB a couple weeks before. Yet there were so many player X to Detroit rumors.

If we were to trade back 7OA + 18OA or 20OA would definitely be appropriate value.
