Rodgrigues qualifying offer is $2m, why would he sign for less? I highly doubt the Sens would give up a 1st for one year of Anderson, but if they offered that, Dubas takes the pick and laughs.

Because he isnt going to get $2MM from anybody. It's already been reported that the leafs and he are negotiating a deal below his QO.

Interesting. Anybody have any examples of someone signing for less than qualifying offer? serious question I have no idea the history of this. Has anyone ever signed for 50% of their qualifying offer?
