Just wait a year until he's off the books. We'll have plenty of cap room this season and can roll with 3 goalies on the roster. Guerin said he's not getting bought out (smart move IMO) so if nobody wants to trade for him, we're fine just keeping him. Worst case scenario, if we make a trade and suddenly need some cap space, we can bury him in Iowa and save some money. Realistically, unless we somehow land an RFA who is getting a massive new deal, I don't see how we come close to hitting the salary cap.
