Why would Columbus, a team that is overflowing with defensemen and bottom-6 forwards, trade away goal-scoring power forward Josh Anderson for what you're offering them? You get a D-.

Vancouver declines and wonders if you have seen our cap situation and future depth at center.

Tampa declines, Palat isn't waiving for Buffalo not enough for both, FYI with the buyout of Lundqvist there's no reason to deal Georgiev he'd be protected because Shesterkin is expansion exempt.

Hasn't there been a lot of trade talk around him? I was under the impression it wasn't if they trade Georgiev... but when and for what.

That was if New York held unto Lundqvist, But now that he's gone there's no reason to trade Georgiev.

Fair enough... I'm convinced Tampa is gonna have to make a desperate move to become cap compliant which may lead to them making a less than great trade

Eichel has no leverage in asking out. Just signed, he does not have a NTC or NMC. If he asked out, you tell him though ****, or trade him to a worse team.

Risto doesn't work for Vancouver from a cap perspective going forward. Real problem for Sabres (and I say this not to be mean) is that the team has really devalued its own players. RHD is a general need in the league and the Sabres have some talent. But all of Risto, Montour, and Miller have been devalued.

Maybe a the Sabres need to allow these players to get better with the team before they trade them? Otherwise you have a similar situation to Ryan OReilly.

5.4 really isn't that much if we aren't signing Tanev. I mean we have to find a way to move money out but if this is the player we want a cap hit of 5.4 would be no means cripple the deal.
