He's not waiving to Calgary. It was widely reported that all Canadian teams are on his NTC. Anything Roger Dicklund says should be taken with a grain of salt, he is basically Eklund 2.0

"Widely Reported" - Ok. Where and by whom? He has an 8 Team no trade list, it's possible but seems unlikely. And as much as I take everything Eklund says with a grain of salt, he tends to get a few things right a couple times a year. Which, unfortunately, is more than can be said of you.

That said, judging by where they are as a franchise, what the holes are in their lineup, that isn't the type of return they would be looking for.
