Maybe so but we haven't seen Campbell in a starting role yet.

The idea that the Leafs need to toss in more to acquire Fleury is ridiculous.

Especially since Hank won’t be playing in an all Canadian division. He isn’t moving so his work better be close to NY..

The thing is... the trade might be fair or even more than fair but if a team doesn’t want to part with their players then they won’t unless the needle is way over. Like all the bs offers I see for Georgiev.. he isn’t the best in the league or even close yet, but it’s been 2 years and he has been good in both of those years. Why give up on him when he is working out for us unless the return is something that grabs the eye.

HIs numbers are bad, when you watch him he looks bad, it's only Rangers fans that talk about him being great when he isn't, that's how it is big guy

For any goaltender to do well on the Leafs they need to be upper echelon. Even the best in the world will look bad at times because the team is built terribly. The defense is thin and the forwards refuse to backcheck. It's a joke when you really look at it.
That's why the Leafs need Andersen and if they traded him (plus? smh) for Fleury it would be ridiculous. If you put Andersen on a defense first team like the Isles or Carolina he'd be in the Vezina conversation every year.
It's why Georgiev would burn out on the Leafs every game as well, because he's bad, he's always been bad and there's nothing to indicate that he's about to change any time soon.

Oh I fully agree with that no G in the nhl could fill the void Of D that the leafs have. Freddy is actually really good and TOR is destroying his career. Would be suicidal for a young goalie trying to develop still to play there

100%
Especially one like Georgiev that is garbage anyway. It may be different for a young goalie that actually has potential like Hart
