@littlejerryseinfeld they are far more likely to do something like this and if they have to they move Paquette and bring in another sub 1mill salary and add another scratch.

You dont even have enough money for a 22 man roster, let alone 23. You are being too team friendly on the contracts too

Not really Tampa has the advantage of no tax, that would be the net amount they would get from a normal tax state and who knows if they will be on a contender or not.

Like I said they will move Paquette and possibly McElhinney if they want a full roster, before they move gourde for a sub par return

So Tyler Johnson wins a cup in Tampa, then waives to go from winning team in low tax state, to losing team in higher taxed province?

Wouldn't give this year's 2nd round pick(40th overall) for Johnson but if he'd waive for Winnipeg he might be an alright pickup for the Jets.

I think something like this is probably what Tampa is going to do to figure out their cap crunch, maybe they trade Coleman and recoup a draft pick for him, could definitely see the RFA'S signing team friendly bridge deals.

Idk but Tampa always seems to figure out their cap issues one way or another, of their RFA's the only one I see them potentially parting with is Cernak but he'll be the cheapest of the three so even then that probably doesn't happen.

I don't think Cernak signs for $2m, he could well get an offer sheet for $4m

It was just to show them leaving the team to prove a point. Doesn't have to be the listed team

So if Tyler can pick his next team...not likely anyone gives a 2nd or 3rd for him.

TB is in more of a NTC squeeze than a cap squeeze.

That isn't the point of this AGM ... The point was to show that Tampa will move those two players before they move gourde, and if those two aren't enough they move Paquette and McElhinney
