Interesting package for Gaudreau, take out the 2nd and 3rd from the Flames and I would probably do it.

I would think one would not have to explain that they are not going to blow the whole team up in effort to upgrade the one spot on the team that does not need it, while making an old team even older. and swapping statistically the best goalie in the league last year for one of if not the worst over the last 3, while not staying under the cap with a full roster. But....

Petro turned down nearly twice that much money.

I think the trades make the team worse in the present, and the future.

Pietrangelo isn't taking anything less then 7 years and $8.5M AAV And Colorado is set in net they've no need for Rask.

Islanders don't need more bottom line wingers. Wagner certainly didn't play well when he was with us a few years back.

Why do are bruins fans keep picking the islanders to send bottom pairing guys too? We don't need the cap, we don't need the player.

It's especially funny when it's with Wagner too. Isles had a chance to keep him, we didn't want him. Certainly not paying a 5th for him.
