Detroit, Carolina and Florida all decline. Ekblad starts with Nylander and Liljegren+2020 1st round pick. Andersen+2nd doesn't get Brett Pesce and no freaking way is Kerfoot worth a late 2nd round pick.

I believe re-signing Clifford changes 2021 3rd to 2021 2nd. Makes the Fla trade even worse.

Kerfoot can get you a 2nd. He has two 40+ point seasons and he is great defensively. It's just Detroit won't trade a 2nd for him because they would rather use the pick and try to finish bottom 5 next year as well. I mean I'm not saying Kerfoot will have that much of an impact that you don't but I mean it certainly doesn't help your case if your trying to get the 1st overall pick.
