That would be a terrible desperation move from the Leafs part. I have to imagine Dubas is too smart to give away that many assets.

I hate the Arizona trade. Gautheir for Crouse is closer to an even deal than the addition of Dermott. Crouse has horrible on-ice effects and is overpaid for his 4th line role. He doesn't even Goat's ability to play centre and win faceoffs. He was good in the world juniors 5 years ago, he isn't good anymore.

Nylander for Parayko is fair. It's an above average forward for an above average defenceman.

Not sure Boone Jenner would be the best target. With the extra cap space I would rather sign Hoffman or Dadanov.

Players on the 4th line don't make more then 925k imo. If they want more then the leafs don't sign them.
