No thanks. Sharks dont want picks in 2021. Wilson REALLY wants this to be the year to restock. The deal would need to be the two other seconds in 2020 and maybe something else like a 4th

No way we make this trade. If anything, I'd expect them to want to move up to 33 or 32

I would be fine drafting Marat 32nd. I wouldn’t draft Wallinder that high though. Rather just wait till 45 and save our 2nd next year. There’s a lot of good players still out there right now. I don’t think Wallinder is worth basically 2 second round picks and Hirose.

Yeah I'm just so high on him and he won't last till 45. He's going to be the steal of this draft when he turns out to be Shea weber with speed. He's gigantic, left handed shot on D which we need, has a huge shot, uses his body, rushes into the play, is fast. I really think this guy with hronek, seider and mcissac(whoever we draft next year, owen power etc) just makes our top 4 special in a few years.

I'm higher on wallinder then anyone in this draft, I get you might not be and that's completely fine. I see nothing but pure skill and upside in his game

#32 Noel Gunler--->6'2" 176 lbs. Today is his 19th birthday. A high-end goal-scorer and a great playmaker. (Was too good for Jr's in Sweden and has been playing in the Swedish Elite League over the course of 3 seasons now (as a 17 yr old 15 games, 18 year old 45 games, and now 4 games so far). Knock on him limited playing time because he was playing in the men's league, being excluded from international teams, and inconsistency from playing in the men's league--which is why he lasted until the 2nd round).
Quoting: Josh Bell (the hockey writers)
While consistency is an issue for many prospects at this stage, the effort and defensive struggles have been largely blown out of proportion. Those struggles have popped up, but for the most part, Gunler plays as if he’s going to score every shift. He has a nose for the net and he’s not afraid to get physical on his way there.
While Wallinder's a project d-man (most commonly described as "raw" and will be at least 5 years away from the Wings) that only projects as a #4 or 3rd pairing. The Wings already have that in their recent defensive picks (Jared McIsaac/ Dennis Cholowski = 2nd pair LHD, (whichever doesn't make 2nd pair)/Albert Johansson = 3rd pair LHD)

I don't hate the pick because of the size and speed being so rare. But I'd rather the Wings take the forward that is on year 3 of playing against men. Also because 2021 draft is supposedly loaded with quality d-men.

I wish we could've gotten Andrae. I really wanted him.

Me too that would have been awesome, after round 2, they kind of just went looney bins too me. I liked Bednar, but otherwise wasn't super impressed

Same here. I really like the Bednar pick, but nothing else really excites me after round 2. I thought they passed on a lot of interesting players for just meh. good thing is, the round 2 picks are the most important ones, and I liked all of them so.
