I think theyll make this pick, dorion said there was interest but i hope they get gunler or peterka (Peterka seems less likely with greig being drafted at 28)

I'd love to see them swing for the fences out of the gate with Gunler. Has the skill and size to be a top end 1RW, and could be a major steal at 33rd. Would also love Peterka. Would not surprise me if they go with Sam Colangelo as their first pick though. Very Sens player. There are so many options available, it's gonna get exciting today, especially once trades start rolling in.

I'm not sure tbh. They could trade Tierney, but that'd leave them with just Anisimov as centres with over 200 NHL games under their belt. Beyond that, I'm not sure who they have that they could trade beyond spare parts.

maaaybe? I would think you gotta give him at least another year to show what he's got. He was so electric for part of the year, that you owe it to yourself as an organization to find out if he can be that consistently. It depends on what kind of deal Is out there, but at this stage I think they should look to keep him.

With this cap crunch, having a player like Duclair available as a rental who Ottawa can retain 50% on will be HUGE if he can be in the 20 goal range at trade deadline. Sign him for a single year and they can decide as late as they like because he'd still be RFA. Signing Tierney for a single year means he's UFA next off-season, so that decision would almost need to be made in advance.

From a OTT's fan perspective, would you be willing to give up one of your 2nd's for Strome's rights?
