How does Dubas not give him his Q.O. when it was just 700k ?

Was he too tall for Dubas, since he only likes people shorter than him.

And he wasn't a Dubas Draft pick.

Gauthier never looked as if he fit well with this team. Whenever he played he never looked confident with the puck and honestly Engvall took his spot as the 4c and did very well which is why Dubas decided to move on.

meh Keefe liked him in the 4c role and with malhotra coming in his FOW% should go up. Plus hes big, fast, and had very good pk numbers. I see Martin-Engvall-Spezza as our 4th line.

because he wasn't good? and theres multiple better options. yes he's 6'5, but he was one of the least physically effective players on the team

Barbie and Korshkie could be on the team. Barbie for sure, Dubas promised him a spot to get him signed.

harder to play against" in the bottom of their lineup

Plus remember this GM as you say offered Clifford 1.2 mill for 3years

You said Goat wasn't good, useful or effective and other options are available. That same write up sums up the last 3 years of Marincin, who Dubas keeps handing a 1 year contract extension every summer for god knows why...Marincin must have been on Dubas casting couch or something and that's why he keeps him around.

No Clifford, no Martin....Dubas would rather let the Russian kids (Barbie and Korshkie) and "mini me" Malgin get into the lineup.
