I would take pelletier out and add bennett and ryan. with stammer and johnson flames are taking on 13.5 million. i could agree that johnson may be able to mesh in cgy and get a fresh start but cgy would have to send some contracts back to make that work or swing a three team trade where tampa gives a 3rd or something to a team like ottawa to take like 2 million of Johnson's contract

Stamkos is a great player. I can't see Calgary giving that much up for him when TB is in cap hell so there is no need to bail them out. I could see a deal made, but not mortgaging the future to the proposed level.

Having looked at this again i can agree with you guys this is a bit of an over payment. i was just trying to put together a good offer without including money going back cause i know Tampa is hurting on the cap front
