Description

Three Team Trade for MAF:

Vegas gets Riikola from PIT to send MAF (with 50% retention) and a 2nd to (insert team trying to get to the cap floor here). Vegas sends a 2022 5th to PIT.

(Insert team trying to get to cap floor) gets a 2022 3rd from PIT to send MAF (with 50% retention again) to PIT.

Totals in MAF coming to PIT with a $1.75M AAV contract.

Report says GMJR is keeping tabs on Flower. Also says he wants a veteran on the third line. Throw Perry to muck it up a little bit.

You cannot retain more than 50% of a contract I believe. Meaning no you cannot retain nearly an entire contract between 2 teams - it would be like cap circumvention

Yes you can. See the Brassard to PIT trade. If multiple teams retain 50% on the same contract, it’s fine.

Rather see Tyler Perry on the 3 RW. He said he'd sign for league minimum and 4 Madea jersey nights. I'd say it's probably a wash.
