Not getting a first for killorn

VERY interesting today on NHL NETWORK ... analyst who was ex GM of Tampa and drafted Hedmen and Stamkos .. listed in order Tampas got to move list to "work on down" .. said Tyler Johnson was first then Gourde then Killorn .. no accident Lawton gave this priority.. hopefully Gourde goes and we done for 2020 as we got enough cap space .. Killorn or Palat or Mc Donough/Stamkos go next year .. need 2 to go to sign Colemen and Point and the dynasty continues for 5 more years

Tyler Johnson is good. His contract isn't great. I just feel like no one is going to claim him to help the Bolts out. If he goes to minors (where he will definitely report), the bolts would have to pay another team to take him off their hands. Why take an asset for free when you can easily get paid to do the same thing.

Also, knowing the bolts situation, NO TEAM is going to offer a first to help the reigning cup champs out of cap hell to get a winger on a bad contract. Between Killorn, Yanni Gourde, and Johnson expect to trade at least one 1st.

Both Sergy and Cirelli are underpaid. Someone will offer Cirelli a 6milx5 ($14 mil more) and Sergy will easily get the same thing, probably more. I know youre just trying to make it work, but be a little realistic.

Can't say all these players are trash if they were the best team in the league by a significant margin last season. Killorn scored 29 goals last year so I think at least a 2nd. Definitely can't get value for Gourde this offseason so I think we're going to have to keep him. Yea Johnson is the mystery but I doubt teams are that petty plus they should only claim him if it makes their team better, if not then pass on him. If Cirelli and Sergachev as OS'd and it's Johnson or Stamkos playing 2C and we have to replace our 3rd pair LD I don't think it horribly diminishes the lightning's chances at another finals appearance
