Every year... we get our hopes up, players use MTL to do a bidding war, then pick literally any other team.

MB must be fuming right now.

He would have gone for any of the teams in the derby... I would have understood it, but buffalo is so out of the left field that it is boggling my mind.

I think Hall is expecting to play with Eichel, boost his stats, then sign that big ass contract.

So habs fan? What do we do?

Do nothin' cause these GMs are confused. Wait them out then pounce when they have no choice but to move someone to go under the cap. Offer one of the hundreds picks Mtl has accumulated. They got their roster almost set, just get a 4th line center that wins draws. Wait for that LW PP shot to be available in the trade route. Play the long game

The Habs don't have the cap space to sign Hall, they probably weren't trying to sign him anyway.

Find a way to sign Dadonov or at the very least Duclair, still haven’t found a way to solve the biggest problem which is no one puts the puck in the net consistently. I get neither one of those guys moves the needle all that much but it’s better than betting on the team as it’s currently constructed

This team is more confident and better than people think. I really think peohling can come up and play the left wing on 3rd line with KK and Armia. I still hate the Edmundson signing
