Hardly smart moves, having impractical 20 man roster....22 is really the number....and no cap.

Exactly. You can't field a 20 man roster just to get yourself under the cap. 22 is the minimum you can realistically run with.

I think one more trade will happen and maybe one more signing. If we can find a different 3C I could see Kerfoot getting moved, that or even Holl but we'll see.

I don't understand why so many want Holl traded. Best Leafs RHD last season, and he makes just 2m...he has to be replaced by an NHL Dman. Same with Kerfoot, folks think he can be traded, then replaced with 750,000 centre. Don't know where that is coming. Either ways, the Leafs aren't better than last year.

I didn't say Kerfoot would be replaced with a 750k player but there are some intriguing players still out there that may be willing to sign on for a short term deal to build up their stock. Haula would interest me for instance. As for Holl, while I very much like him, I can see this year not going so well. Not that he isn't capable, but I think Dermott and Lehtonen could both pass him this season and now he's a healthy scratch again, same with Bogosian. I am really excited to see how things pan out. Imagine a season where Toronto had a tonne of defensive depth. Lol

Agree with you that the Leafs have Dman depth....and a lot of it is at low cap. So if a couple play being there contracts, Leafs defence should be OK.
