    ideally a 1st or a decent young roster player like greenway or brodin but w bowman after the saad trade who knows

    I think Strome will return, he’s cost-controlled for a while and performs well (and he’s still young).

    could be. at least one forward will have to move out regardless

    I'm having my doubts. It wouldn't surprise me if Bowman is shopping him which is why he hasn't been signed IMO.

    I don't think Carpenter or Smith necessarily force Strome to be traded, but I agree Bowman is at least listening to offers if not shopping him. I think they should keep him on a 2-3 year deal. Is it out of the realm of logic that in 2 seasons Toews is the unofficial 3rd line C with Dach/Strome as the 1-2?

    its not, but its also just as likely toews is a 60pts players in 2-3 years and demands a top 6 c spot
