The Wild don’t need to move Dumba. That package isn’t enough. The Wild would want Ehlers or another skilled winger if they traded Dumba to the Jets.

The value of Dumba is roughly equivalent to Ehlers with a small add by Winnipeg to even it out.

The Jets understandably don't want to move Ehlers but it would cost at a minimum of Ehlers or one of Connor/Laine for us to be even remotely interested in trading him to a divison rival.

Before the draft we would have probably have settled for Roslovic and 10th overall. The draft is done, now we will only accept a Dumba trade if we get something of equal return.

That ain't it, we're not going to accept table scrapes for him just because you want to lowball us.

Dumba is nowhere near Ehlers level. Dumba performed like a number 4 defenceman this season, and Ehlers is a legit top line winger. That would be brutal for the Jets. The Jets would most likely need to add to this deal though

If Ehlers is being traded for a Top defensemen, WPG wouldn't be going after Dumba. The guy would be Pulock

Ummm Dumba is not on ehlers level and isn’t even close to touching a player like Connor. Especially when you consider that his previous 2 seasons since being extended have been pretty meh. Honestly you guys are not going to get that dynamic offensive forward you think you are. Best you’re gonna to get from Chevy is Roslo Harkins and maybe a pick or two. With a defensive filler like Poolman.

Dumba is absolutely on par with Ehlers value-wise, don't kid yourselves. And if he has another 50 point season, Ehlers needs a significant add to get Dumba.

Then go after Weegar. Dumba isn't terrible defensively, you clearly aren't familiar with his game. You don't even know how to spell Weegar's name so I really doubt you're familiar with his. But go after him then.
