If you upped Foegele to Gunler or Bean and we took a cap dump back Id probably say thats a decent offer

That was more of a Hawks fan suggestion in another thread and as a Leafs fan myself I dont HATE it. It is what it is to get a Top 4 RHD under contract control for MIN 3+ Years

I thought about Bean at first but CHI is Pretty stacked in Defensive Prospects already is it not?

A top 10 scorer at 6.5M for three years is almost impossible to find let alone acquire, not to mention with a resumé like his... to sum up: return not enough

In actuality 88 has always been overrated but

If this is more of a "could" AGM than "should" well...

Think you’re really overestimating the negative value of Moore. It’s negligible. I think rather than pay that price they would just bury him or buy him out.

on the right side yeah. Left side is pretty bare for high end guys. Bean is a pretty common trade target for Hawks fans in Carolina trades

88 has always been overrated? How do you figure? He always drew the short end of the stick when it came to linemates up until we got Panarin. Most of the time it was Toews playing with Hossa and Sharp/Saad that got the glory while Kane played with Michal Handzus and Brad Richards

That’s the difference between needing to get rid of a contract and wanting to. At this point unless they make another move, he’s prob their 6th or 7th D
