So the Stone trade was Brannstrom + 2nd if I'm remembering correctly -- and this is Branstrom + 2nd + 2nd for Dumba.

So essentially, the deal is Stone + 2nd for Dumba...

Remember Stone was a deadline trade. They paid Brannstrom and a 2nd for half a year of Stone and signing rights before he became a UFA (Which worked in favor of Vegas). Versus Brannstrom and 2 x 2nds for 3 years of Dumba (And could still extend him like Vegas and Stone). That is a big difference.

Yeah, not denying that. You're right. But also, that contract was basically already agree upon when they traded him. I know they were never going to get full value for Stone, but it just doesn't look great if they end up flipping those pieces+ for Dumba. But I'm not the biggest Dumba fan to begin with, so it might just be my bias creeping in.

Dumba isn't worth Brannstrom, let alone him and 2 2nd's, and Tampa would ask more for Cirelli. As a Wild fan I love these trades, but realistically Ottawa and Tampa would be laughing at these offers.
