Not ideal... But keep Donato on the 2nd line. Pair Sheary and Nieto on Marleau's wings. 4C well become a revolving door of Handemark, Gambrell, Gregor, Suomela, and Kellman.

Might be a good candidate for Haula. 1 year 2-2.5m for the year.

Would be the perfect candidate for him.... Unfortunately I don't think Wilson will do it.

I think it is a good time to trade with the Sharks and see if you could pry a 2022 or 2023 1st rounder or later off them. They are going to stink for a few years I suspect. Three unmovable monster contracts on the back end and 2/3 are slowing down already, and 3/3 will be in a couple years. Plus no goal tending. But hey, I could be wrong. Good luck Sharks.

No team is going to touch any of those contracts. And Wilson already traded enough assets and picks to acquire those guys to give those contracts to. I think it's a waiting game until after the expansion draft to see if Seattle takes Burns or maybe even Kane (if DW doesn't protect him in order to try and get out of a big contract). I still think this team has the skill to be competitive, but the window is definitely closing; and they need to stay healthy, which has been an issue for a few years now.

I think too many people right the sharks off. I still see a VERY talented team here that absolutely don’t want to see taken lightly. Burns is still a beast. Feel like we haven’t even seen karlsson get comfortable yet.

The talent is still there. There is no questioning that. Health is going to be the key to their success. EK65 hasn't stayed healthy since he's been in SJ. Couture and Hertl injuries haven't helped out either, as the Sharks don't have the depth to recover from their top players getting injured.

I really like the Donato addition. Liked him since he was in Boston, and I think he just needs the ice time to be able to thrive. The Sharks provide a perfect opportunity for him.

Goaltending is the other big ??? Will Dubnyk be able to bounce back? I sure hope so. Will he push Jones to be better? I hope that happens as well.

I think dubnyk more recent struggles are more to do with personal distractions than his ability. Hopefully his family is doing well and he can refocus in a contract year and provide to his capabilities. I’ve always been a big dubnyk fan

I dont think it's ideal... But I like it better than relying on Gambrell, Gregor, or Handemark to man the spot. Kellman probably doesn't make the team out of camp. And I've always been meh on Suomela. I keep trying to come around on him and I really want him to prove me wrong. I also don't see DW doing much else unfortunately. Was surprised to see that they were even talking to Sheary. I assumed he was going to stand pat aside from potentially a RHD 6th D.

You think the Sharks are gonna move a 1st after what happened with the Karlsson trade? Good luck with that...

If he plays center like he does wing, this would be a well balanced top 9, not certain he can though
