Yeah. This would have been a solid offseason. This team looks nice. Donato as a 3C is a but sus, but other than that this is what the team might have looked like if Doug Wilson wasn't an idiot.

I also would ditch that Sorensen contract and not bring back Marleau. Throw Donato as 3rd line LW and Nieto as 4th LW. Take that cap space and sign Haula for 3rd line center. I’m also into the idea of Jan Rutta as the 6th dman.

Even with all of that, goaltending still remains the weak link.
