Fast pass from the Leafs. Right side of defence is already full and Kerfoot is better than and more valuable than Miller. Shop him elsewhere, Leafs just aren't looking to add anymore defence unless it's a substantial upgrade

There's 11 defence. Not saying they're all better than Miller, but Miller would be their #4/5 d-man at best. And at the cost of $3.875m & their 3C (no centre depth to fill the role if Kerfoot was traded), that role can be filled with much cheaper options. & it's much smarter to give the chance to Sandin, Lehtonen, or Liljegren for that price. Not to mention that Miller makes more than Kerfoot so it's adding cap to a team that's already over the cap.

Anyone that thinks that's a good trade is an idiot. No offence.
