Why in the world would Rieder and Thompson play on the 3rd line over Cozens. They would not put him on the team to be the 13th forward

If Ruots keeps playing like he is in Liiga, he will make the team in training camp. I don't see a place on the starting roster for Rieder, Lazar, or Thompson. Cozens is a lock for top 9 this season

Just worried the way Adams/Krueger talk about Rieder that he is definitely in the lineup. They just gave Thompson 2 years so i would think he has to be in the lineup somewhere. Where do we put Cozens? I want him in the lineup but seems very "Sabres" to find a way to keep him out, same with Ruots.

Cozens will likely play RW on one of the top 3 lines. Thompson has shown the ability to play LW in the past, so if Cozens is ready then I think he pushes Tage to the other side.

I think Ruotsalainen will compete for a spot, but I see him playing the bulk of the year in Rochester. Same path that we took with Olofsson that worked very well for him.
