To fair and honest, wings won't pay to take on a contract that is for a player that has never been the same since his knee surgery. He hasn't lived up to this contract and has been a healthy scratch numerous times. At this point you won't get picks for ghost and will have to pay for a team like the wings to take him off your hands

Detroit ain't gonna take on any bad contract unless you give them picks or prospects. Just how it is.

Raffl is too good and doesn't deserve to be a scratch so philly says no to the johnson trade. Philly might have to add picks in the ghost trade

What is the incentive for the Flames take on more salary and retain on Lucic.

Especially considering we have only enough cap space to sign our last RFA.

Gostisbehere is one player that still generally intrigues me. But for his contract and his quality of play the past two years, that's a bit rich for me. I don't view Gost as a pure cap dump and I don't think Philly does either, which is why you guys haven't moved him yet. But there's a reason he's still with Philly, and that's because a deal like this doesn't exist. If it did, he would be gone. That said, I would probably do it for a 2022 4th, although I may be in the minority here. It's too late now I think, if he was going to be moved it was going to happen before free agency.
