Description
DET-NYI (From this AGM: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2083775)
Red Wings get a veteran RHD and a 1st round pick. Isles save $6M in cap space and get a fringe center prospect with Isles roots.

NSH-NYI (Inspired by this AGM: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2081179)
Predators get a bottom-pair defenseman to rotate between him, Borowiecki, and Benning, a bottom-6 PKer, a PK center prospect, and a goal-scoring boom-or-bust prospect. Isles get a bottom-6 versatile forward, a reserve defenseman, and save ~$4.5M in cap space.

Isles sign RFAs Mat Barzal to a bridge-deal and Ryan Pulock to a long-term deal.

Isles sign UFAs Matt Martin, Andy Greene, and Cory Schneider (all rumored to return), and bring Brassard back on a one-year deal after a nice year with NYI.

Hey man, inspired by another AGM. I tested it out with NSH and it seemed pretty good on your side. With this roster you'd have $4M+ in cap space.

Forsberg-Johansen-Arvidsson
Grimaldi-Duchene-Duclair ($3M)
Bellows-Sissons-Kunin ($2.85M)
Cousins-Koivula-Komarov

Josi-Ellis
Ekholm-Fabbro
Borowiecki-Benning

Saros
Rinne

Hickey
Richardson
Trenin

Would it be better if Hickey and Tinordi were taken out?

Komarov + Hickey are both cap dumps and have negative value. Jarnkrok has positive value and is signed for $2m for two more years during a flat cap. Neither Bellows or Koivula are very exciting prospects and both likely max out as 3rd liners if lucky, so not really sure that they make it enticing enough for NSH to take on all of that salary and term.

Going to have to throw in more then a 1st for 2 years of Boychuck at 6M. It cost the Leafs a 1st to move Marleau who was actually a contributing player still who ended up being bought out. Staal was moved for a 2nd with 1 year at 5.7 and he is a better player then Boychuck. A late 1st isn't going to get it done in this market. Add a prospect or one of Colordo's 2nds and the deal gets done.
