Good job making the offer sheet, so even if the Islanders somehow trade Boychuk they still can't match. I suppose they could and do anything to clear cap before the start of the season, which is what they would probably do, but it's not the ideal situation for New York.

This is silly -- like "solving" Tampa's cap problem by simply putting Johnson and Gourde on the LTIR list. Neither Getzlaf nor Backes go there, so forget about offer-sheeting Barzal AND signing Hoffman and Hainsey. And replacing Hainsey with Djoos, although it allows you to put Backes back in place, doesn't give us enough room to sign Barzal unless one of Fowler, Lindholm or Silfverberg is traded away.

Why the hell Getzlaf and Backes is in LTIR ? They still are in the roster, so your moves make no sens at all
