Tavares has a NMC. The leafs literally cannot trade him unless he waives, which obviously is not happening

I'm not sure how I would feel about a Georgiev, Campbell tandem, but I don't think the Rangers will make that trade anyway. Zibanajed is really underrated and he had a very solid season. I would be okay with Zibanajed and Fox for Matthews and a 2nd tbh, but I think the Rangers are just giving up too much in that trade

I'll take it. Zibanejad is still a good 1c and we get 2 1sts, a good offencive defenceman (haha he is offenceive as an off ice perpective too), and a good tandem goalie


You see, the reason you don't see any Tavares trades is because his contract has a clause that means he can't be traded unless he wants too. Besides, Matthews won't be traded either, this is clearly just hypothetical.

If i was a Ranger fan(im not), I wouldn't do this. not to mention that these guys are all on amazing contracts. The fact that Mika is making 5.3 for that production is unreal. 4.8 for a potential 50 point dman going forward...sign me up for that potential, and 2.4 for a 1A/1B type of goalie? what is happening in NYR.
Mathews is really good. a great goal scorer, but not worth 3 good players and 2 first round picks
