Calling 3 time cup champion and hall of famer Jim Rutherford the worst GM in the metro. Good joke

Ill never understand the hate he gets on here...

Id put Sweeny and Dorion above Dubas in the Atlantic. Dorion has done a great job rebuilding the Sens after being put in an impossible position by his players/owner. Sweeny has done a good job at keeping the Bruins competitive despite an aging core and has been great at keeping great players at low cost.

Bob Murray easily top 3 in the pacific, Ducks were one of the winningest teams in the 2010s. playoff births in 8/12 seasons. 6 playoff series wins, 5 straight division titles. Easily better than Treliving, and Blake and I would argue Wilson

Ah yes... Joe Sakic! I would say right now he’s the best GM in the NHL. Also Holland over Treliving.

Agreed on Dorian... got rid of Ryan, got Dadonov, and got Murray.... don’t forget the depth player Gudbranson! Definitely did excellent in term of signings!

I think it’s based off of this year... because you see Holland with the oilers, Armstrong with the coyotes etc... if it wasn’t it wouldn’t be fair to rank them then, because some of them just got new jobs on different teams.

If you can win a cup without one of your 8 million dollar players does that make you a good gm or bad gm? Good cus you've built a great team but bad because wasted 8 mil on a unnecessary piece.

Its not like he knew stamkos was going to be injured and they are in cap hell but its worth it for the cup, and Yzerman likely could have gotten them out of cap hell

The point is they won the cup without stamkos and they could really use that 8 mil in cap right now. Could end up being the reason they win one cup instead of multiple.
