I can see how CBJ would like this trade, but what does it do for the Avs? They trade a younger, faster, more pt producing top 6F and locked up for twice as long in Bura and a PK specialist -- for a 33yr middle/bottom 6 F (on the Avs anyways) that is UFA and will never be resigned in Denver and a LD that has no hope of jumping the 3 out of 4 NHL ready LD they already have in Sammy, Gravy and Byram. Keep in mind that they are a cup contender that wants to get better not trade for futures like a 2nd, which won't even make a top 50 pick. Really? Did you even think this out?

I really don't like any of these trades to be honest for both teams. I either feel like its a lose lose or neither of them benefit off of it.
