Not comparable. Vegas wanted Petro and Schmidt got forced out. Risto doesn't NEED to go anywhere.

Difference is Schmidt is way better and cheaper, he could have gotten a 2nd if Vegas wasn’t cap strapped

I wouldn't say "Way better", at least not in my eyes. I've always wanted Risto in Edmonton since he was drafted.

Ya he gets overrated by his point totals when in reality he is very inefficient in the ozone and gets carried by Eichel and he is awful in his own zone
