NYI will be left with only Pelech on the left side and Leddy isn't the best plan. What is this Buffalo trade? They won't contend, they don't need Rask while the Bruins need him and Halak isn't a starter. DeBrusk would be a UFA after this deal, it doesn't work.

That Buffalo trade is what'll keep the B's from being a contender.

Sabres pass on the trade. They don't have the cap space to make that move even if they wanted to

1. 4 years takes debrusk right to UFA, so that’s not an option.
2. Leddy stinks and his contract stinks worse.
3. Tuukka said he’ll retire if traded.
