Cap crunch desperation

Description
It’ll take 2 first round picks to move TJ imo.
TB will get no more than a third round pick for Killorn and I believe he would go to Nashville and they would embrace him there.
Coburn only has a year left and should not cost much to move him. I read somewhere that he might be a candidate for LTIRetire.

Easy yes from Detroit but I don’t think you need to attach 2x firsts to move him

If I’m any team like Detroit then I’m demanding that price tag. I’m not taking on 4 years at $5 million per for anything less especially in this market. And we all know they will be late first round picks so it’s not exceptional return.

The bigger question: does Johnson waive for Detroit?

I think he might. His time is obviously done in TB. It’s not like Detroit is a bad organization either. Yzerman = familiarity.

You're probably right. I thought it was crazy and awesome that no team claimed him when he went on waivers. The guy is good and would make so many other teams instantly better. Nice to see GM's making other GM's pay the price of doing business

If Sergachev signs for 8 years I don't see it being less than 7 million.

Right. That was supposed to be 3 years not 8.
