Easy no from Buffalo. They don’t need more high priced wingers. Cozens is the future 2C they desperately need and he comes at a much cheaper price.

Almost everyone here is drunk.

Why would you give up Laine to pick up a cap dump????

Ristolainen is the same as Lucic, Okposo and Eriksson.

(yes Cozens is good but come on, Laine good?)

Cozens’ development and production has been compared to Brayden Point. I’d rather take my chances on the center than bring in another high priced winger. Successful teams spend their money on centers and top dmen, not a ton of wingers.

It's reasonable to want Cozens over Laine. But Cozens is a risk. And Laine is a sure thing. It's at least close. However, if one side was ridding itself of the 5+ million cap hit of the worst defensive player in the NHL I would call them the winners of this deal. Also Brayden Point doesn't become Brayden Point without guys around him like Kucherov. Obviously Cozens can have that level of player around him but there is a fail rate here as well. Buffalo has failed in developing players a lot recently. Mittlestadt, Nylander and Risto were all top 10 picks. That would worry me a little.

Easy no from Winnipeg, that is no where even near Laine’s value.

Because Carolina has way too many defenseman. I feel like Bean will develop better in Winnipeg because their defense is weak.
