What's the incentive for PHI to move Myers and Farabee? No one can take on the minutes Myers takes on.

I would do it, but I don't sign Caggiula. I prefer to Vesey, Barabanov or Korshkov instead.

Gonna tip my hat to you for including a good player on the rise (Farabee) in the return for William Nylander. An occurrence on this site as rare as an aurora borealis

I don't think it's likely but on the surface I don't mind it. I think I would need to learn more about Myers before fully endorsing the move.

Right but then you look a disparity between the offensive talent going out (Nylander) vs coming in (Farabee) and is that loss up front worth the supposed (would need to look further into it) upgrade on D beside Rielly, even though Toronto just brought in Brodie for that role. I also have a lot more faith than most in Toronto's D prospects. I think patience is the most probable course of action and most likely to lead to Toronto's success.

For the record, I think Farabee is an awesome young player who can be a significant piece on a good team but I think his ceiling would be what Nylander currently is and Nylander is already there and only getting better.

Which is why I tip my hat at your proposal. It's one I can respect even if I'm not sure it's the best course of action. My initial reaction is the Leafs probably shouldn't do it but if they did I wouldn't immediately dismiss it like 99% of Nylander trades here.
